Field sales representatives are responsible for selling products, services and solutions to clients within a specified geographic territory.As a field sales representative, once you have secured a client deal, you will ensure customer satisfaction by assisting with training and installation, and managing the relationship of the client with your company or manufacturer.
Job Duties/Responsibilities

manage sales-productivity software tools to effectively track selling activities
manage contact information for sales prospects and existing clients
schedule visits or meetings with clients within your sales territory
Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
