Warehouse managers are responsible for organising the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehoused goods.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

processing orders
operating mechanical and IT systems
liaising with customers and other departments
training, supervising and appraising staff
maintaining statistical and financial records
planning
ensuring that quality objectives and delivery deadlines are met
managing budgets
administering stock control
ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.

Qualification

Proven work experience as a warehouse manager will be a plus
Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
Leadership skills and ability manage staff
Strong decision making and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Bsc/Hnd/Ond business administration or any related field
Additional certification will be a plus
