Quantity surveyors are responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects.
Quantity surveyors perform a wide variety of tasks throughout the complete life cycle of a construction project.

Job Duties/Responsibilities
• preparing plans, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation
• performing risk analysis evaluations
• preparing and submitting final accounts
• making valuations
• seeking funding sources and submitting bids
• carrying out feasibility studies
• arranging payments to suppliers and contractors
• providing advice and forecasts about costs
• supervising staff.
• cost control
• writing reports
Qualification
• Proven experience as a quantity surveyor or construction estimator
• Basic understanding of accounting and project management concepts
• Deep understanding of research methodology, data analysis and estimation metrics
• Comfortable with numbers and technology
• Great attention to detail
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Well-organized and reliable
• BSc/Hnd in Quantity Survey, engineering, construction science, or relevant field
• Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or other qualification will be a plus
