JOB DESCRIPTION

Excellent communication and problem solving skills, including ability to maintain composure under stress.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Understand and adhere to established policies and procedures.
Actively
assist with established Front of House emergency procedures. (Familiar
with location and operation of emergency exits and equipment.)
Assist House Manager with procedures for injuries, medical problems, etc.
Assist patrons with ADA / special needs.
Ability
to provide accurate knowledge to patrons regarding venue logistics
(i.e. location of ticket office, restrooms, phones, concessions, coat
check, etc.), information about the event, general building history,
etc.
Ability to read event ticket (visual acuity corrected to read as
small as 11-font print) in dim lighting with use of provided
flashlight.
Ability to repeatedly climb stairs – up and down – to provide effective staff coverage in all areas of theater.
Ability to stand for long periods, sometimes for the duration of an event.
Work all assigned shifts and arrive at posted call time (or obtain replacement.)
Adhere to dress code.
Commit to at least one year of service.
Work in all three buildings at a variety of events.
Paid staff work a minimum of eight events each month. Minimum shifts may may increase in a given month.
Work flexible hours, including nights and holidays.
Work two Saturday or Sunday shifts per month.
Volunteer staff work a minimum of three events each month. Minimum shifts may increase in a given month.
