Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Mow, line trim and edge lawn areas.
Trims, edges and maintain walks, shrub beds, and other areas to include weed pulling, mulch spreading, removal of ivy and other invasive groundcovers.
Prune shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth (done with training and supervision).
Maintains pathways, potholes and redressing of gravel.
Assists in Spraying lawn, shrubs, and trees with fertilizer, herbicides, and insecticides (done with training and supervision).
Cleans grounds, including garbage cans and ashtrays, remove outdoor litter and assist with recycling efforts.
Plants flowers, trees, shrubs and seeds lawn areas.
Water lawn, shrubs and other supplemental container plantings.
Repairs fences, gates, walls and walks.
Cleans out drainage ditches, culverts, drywells, gutters and flat roofs.
Minor building repairs.
Assist with event set-up, breakdown and clean-up, working with the Rentals and Activity Manager.
Works with volunteers in a courteous and respectful manner.
Parking assistance.
Power washes hardscapes. Blows grounds.
Maintains clean appearance of hardscaping, pathways and drives including cleaning and minor repair.
Maintains Lakewold Gardens signs, permanent and temporary.
Maintains outdoor lighting including minor repairs and bulb replacement.
Perform mechanical maintenance of lawn equipment, irrigation system and pumps.
Responsible for keeping maintenance shop and tools clean.
Services road, Barker lot and beach front along Gravelly Lake.
Other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has limited supervisory responsibilities.
