Quantity surveyors are responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects.
Quantity surveyors perform a wide variety of tasks throughout the complete life cycle of a construction project.
Responsibilities:
• preparing plans, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation
• performing risk analysis evaluations
• preparing and submitting final accounts
• making valuations
• seeking funding sources and submitting bids
• carrying out feasibility studies
• arranging payments to suppliers and contractors
• providing advice and forecasts about costs
• supervising staff.
REQUIREMENTS:
All applicants should have a minimum of HND/ Bachelors’ degree in Surveying/Architecture and any other related discipline of this vacant and professional certification is an added advantage. Applicants must have at least 5 and above years of experience in these field of specialization.
