Project Engineer Lagos Mainland

Project Engineers are in charge of supervising the development of complex projects while observing pre-determined conditions (cost, quality, safety, time lines).

These versatile engineers participate in defining the project's specifications, drawing up its budget, planning and seeing through its implementation.

Comfortable with both technical and financial aspects, Project Engineers coordinate the work of the various participants involved (engineers, technicians, suppliers and subcontractors). They can intervene as required in technical matters. They make sure that development methods, timelines and costs are observed during each phase of the process. When they notice discrepancies, they notify the managers concerned and work with them to resolve the problem

Responsibilities:
• Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management.
• Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors.
• Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
• Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests.
• Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
• Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
• Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions
REQUIREMENTS:
All applicants should have a minimum of OND/HND/ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and any other related discipline of this vacant and professional certification is an added advantage. Applicants must have at least 3 and above years of experience in these field of specialization.
